Name of the Scholarship - Eligibility Details

BC / MBC / DNC Scholarship - Candidates should have secured minimum 75% of attendance in the previous year of study. Annual income of parents should be below Rs.1,00,000

SC / ST Scholarship - SC-ST, Convertered Christian Adi - Dravidar students. Candidates should have secured minimum 75% of attendance in the previous year of study. Annual income of parents should be below Rs.1,00,000

HESS (Higher Education Special Scholarship) - SC-ST, Converted Christian students. Candidates should stay in the University Hostel. Annual income of the parents should be below Rs.50,000/-

Minority Scholarship - Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh

Beedi Scholarship - The student should be son / daughter of beedi worker. The total family income should not exceed Rs.10,000/- per month of Beedi Worker. Income particulars with salary certificate to be obtained in case both the parents are beedi workers.

Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child for PG - Any single girl child being the only child of her parents is eligible under the scheme. The benefit under scheme will be available to such a single girl child who has taken admission in first year of a Master’s degree in non-professional programme in any recognized university

Post Graduate (PG) Merit Scholarship Scheme For University Rank Holders - in General Courses the First and Second Rank holders admitted in any Postgraduate Programme would be awarded the scholarship, in Honours Courses the scholarship would be awarded only to the First Rank holders. These awardees will have to submit the proofs of their merit position at undergraduate level as well of their admission in postgraduate programmes. The scholarship would, however, be subjected to securing a minimum of sixty per cent marks at undergraduate level. The scheme is applicable to such students who have taken admission in regular, full-time Master’s Degree course in any recognized university or a Post-Graduate college. This scholarship is available to the student for first PG Degree only. Age limit for the students is 30 years at the time of admission in PG course.

Physically handicapped (Ph) Scholarship - Disabled Children aged 5 years and above

U.G.C. Scheme For Award of Post Graduate Scholarships For Professional Courses for Sc/St Candidates - The candidate must have obtained Graduate degree in the relevant subject and obtained admission at Postgraduate level for regular full time course in any of the Professional subject in a recognized University/ Institution/ College. Candidates pursuing post graduate course in
professional subjects by correspondence or by Distance Education mode are not eligible to receive financial assistance under this scheme. The upper age limit for male applicants is 45 years as on 1st July on the year of application, and 50 years in the case of female candidates. In exceptional cases, the age may be relaxed

Post-Graduate (PG) Merit Scholarship Scheme for University Rank Holders at Undergraduate Level - Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship Scheme for University rank holders (in General and Honours Courses at Undergraduate levels) with the objective of attracting talents for pursuing post-graduate studies in basic subjects. The scheme is for nonprofessional courses only. The selection
will be purely on merit basis. The awardees under this scheme can pursue their Post- Graduate programme in any area of specialization as also in any institution
