Applications are invited Online through the proforma Application form to be made available on Website www.opsconline.gov.in from 2017. is the last date for payment of application fee for recruitment to the following posts of Lecturer in Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya in Class-II Group-B of Odisha Culture Service under Tourism & Culture(Culture) Department in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34,800/- carrying grade pay of Rs.4600 with usual Dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.


(1)Educational Qualification
(2)candidate should have possessed Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent Examination with at least 55% of marks from recognized University/Educational Institution. Provided that candidate in possession of Ph.D. Degree or experience as a performing Artist and teaching experience in a Government or recognized Institution will be given preference.
(3)OPSC 2017 Age Limit
(4)candidate should be under 32(thirty-two) years and over 21(twenty- one) years of age
on the 1st January 2012 i.e. he/she must not have born earlier than 2nd January,1980 and not later than 1st January, 1991. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to categories of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C), Women, Ex-servicemen and by 10 (ten) years for Physically Handicapped candidates, Provided that in case a candidate who comes under more than one category mentioned above, he/she will be eligible only for one age relaxation benefit, which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her

(6)candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees
three hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee, Candidates are required to take a printout of finally submitted online Application for future use and take printout of online chalan (pay- in- slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India(SBI). The fee paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment

Thumb Impression
(13)Candidates are requested to upload the scanned image of latest passport size photograph along
with scanned image of his/her full signature and scanned image of Left Hand Thumb
Impression(LTI) in the online application form. Uploaded photograph, full signature and LTI
must be clearly identifiable / visible, otherwise the application of the candidate is liable to be
rejected by the Commission and no representation from the candidate will be entertained.
(14)Candidates should keep at least 2 copies of latest passport size photograph which is uploaded t
the online application form for future use.
(15)The candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted Online Application Form
for future use and take a printout of Online Challan (Pay-in-Slip) for payment of requisite fee a
any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). The Fee paid shall not be refunded under any
circumstances nor can the fee be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or
recruitment.
(16)On successful submission of the Online Application Form, a Unique Registration ID will be
displayed on the screen as well as on the top of the application form. Candidates are requested
to note down the Unique Registration ID and use it in future correspondence
