TheThe Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is going to announce soon Employment Notification for Recruitment 2017 Applications are invited from the Gujarat Public Service Commission eligible applicants for filling up the following posts in the Assistant Directorl. The candidates belonging to reserved category can apply against vacancies for The candidates holding the qualification mentioned below are requested to apply online and send their application for the post of Assistant Director, Class-II, (Industries and Mines Dept. in Director, of Government Printing and Stationery 2017.

The selection and recommendation for posts reserved for women shall be done as per Government Resolution dated 01-01-2017. In case of non availability of candidates the post so reserved will be allotted to male candidates Other Details like Educational Qualification / Selection Process / how to Apply are Given Below

(1)Education Qualification
(2)(1) Possess a degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the government
(3)Have about five years experience in the cadre not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class-III, In Government
(5)Have about five years experience in Local Bodies or a Government Undertaking Board or Corporation
(6)Limited Company established by Law in India in the cadre which can be treated eduivalent to the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class-III, in Government
(7)Provided that preference may be given to a candidate who possesses a post –graduate degree in law or a degree in Personnel Management or Labour Welfare from a Universities established by law in India.
(8)Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
(9)Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
(11)Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade pay- Rs. 4600 )
(12)Age Limit
(13)Not more than 35 years. Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of application

GPSC Upper Age limit Shall be Relaxed as Under Assistant Director, Class-II

General Women Candidates05 Years
Ex. Serviceman. Including E.C.O./S.S.C.O.Length of Military Service plus three years,up to 40 years.
Physically DisabledIn the case of physically handicapped candidates, who have L.V. ( Law Vision) or H.H. (Hearing Handicapped) having disablity in moderate category (40% or above but less than 75%) or Physically Disabled candidates having disabilities of OL or BL or OA or OAL shall be considered as suitable for applying in the advertisement, shall get 10 years relaxation in the age limit subject to his / her ability for age relaxation according to Govt. Rules. No relaxation is available to the candidates possessing other than the prescribed physical disabilities.
candidate who is already in Gujarat Govt. service, either as a permanent or a temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed age limit prescribed for the advertised post at the time of his first appointment.(i) If experience is prescribed as one of the qualifications, the upper age limit shall not apply

(ii) If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications and a Govt. servant appointed to a post requiring a Medical, Engineering, Veterinary or Agriculture degree or diploma and who applied for any such post, the upper age limit shall not apply

(iii) If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications in the advertisement, Govt. servants who are working on the post from which an employee can be promoted to the post so advertised, be entitled to relaxation of 5 years, or to the extent of equal number of years for which service has been put in by him, whichever is less
