The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board also invites notification for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) every year. The board conducts TN TET exam for filling various teacher posts in various subjects. Every year 15 lacks of students appears in the TN TET examination. This year also the Board will soon announced the notification for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2017.
Teachers Recruitment Board is designated as the Nodal Agency for conducting of Teacher Eligibility Test and recruitment of Teachers is going to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET-2017) exam very shortly. Interested Candidates to take TN TET exam can apply through online where the application forms are available on the official website of at http://trb.tn.nic.in/

So Tamil Nadu Teacher eligibility conditions can apply for the TN TET 2017 Notification. Online Forms, Eligibility, Exam Date. After announcing the notification any interested and eligible candidates can apply online mode from official website. Only those candidates can apply online mode which candidates minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. Teachers Recruitment Category of Candidates for TET

SI.NOThe Following categories of candidates should write the Teacher
Eligibility Test
(1)The Secondary Grade Teachers / Graduate Teachers appointed with the prescribed qualifications in Government, Government Aided and Un-aided Schools on or after 23rd August, 2017. But exemption will be granted to persons whose appointment process
initiated prior to NCTE Notification dated 2017
(2)Secondary Grade Teachers working in Unaided Institutions without the prescribed qualifications shall acquire such minimum qualifications within a period of 5 years and should pass the TET Paper I.
(3)Graduate Teachers working in Unaided Institutions without the prescribed qualifications shall acquire such minimum qualifications within a period of 5 years and should pass the TET Paper II.
(4)All Candidates with necessary qualifications and seeking for appointment as Teachers for Classes I to V and VI to VIII
(5)Candidates who want to improve their previous TET Paper-I and TET Paper - II scores.
(6)Eligibility to Write TET
(7)Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications to write the Teacher Eligibility Test
(8)Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education (regarding other State D.T.Ed Certificate, evaluation certificate is necessary) in a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET and seeking an appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher for classes I to V (except Visually Impaired Candidates) can write Paper I.
(9)Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography or a Degree with any one of the equivalent subjects (Regarding equivalent subject, Government orders issued prior to the date of this notification alone will be considered) from a Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a Recognized University and seeking an appointment as Teacher for classes VI to VIII can write Paper II.
(7)Candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of D.E.Ed / B.Ed during the current Academic Year (2012 – 2013) are also permitted to appear for the Teacher Eligibility Test. Such Candidate’s should have successfully completed the course in the current Academic Year (2012-2013) itself and should produce D.E.Ed / B.Ed Certificate during Certificate Verification otherwise they shall not be considered for current year Government recruitment process. However they may be issued with TET certificate after producing D.E.Ed Diploma certificate / B.Ed Degree Certificate.

TNTET 2017 Apply Online and Examination Fees

(1)Applications can be received from 2017 from all the Head Masters of Government Higher Secondary Schools, on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash towards the cost of Application Form
and Prospectus.
(2)Use Separate Application for Paper I and Paper II
(3)The Examination fee is Rs.500/- for all the candidates except SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates. For SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates examination fees is Rs.250
(4)The fee should be paid by the candidate in any Branch of the State Bank of India or Indian Overseas Bank or Canara Bank only using the Prescribed Challan attached with the Prospectus.
Payment of Fees in any other method will not be accepted.
(5)Candidates should use the OMR Application Form only. NO other form of typed or printed or photocopied application forms will be accepted and such applications, if any will be summarily
rejected.
(6)While making payment of fees through the Challan the candidate should take care to write all the necessary details without fail.
(7)The filled-in Application Form and the TRB Copy of the Fees Payment Challan must be put inside the envelope provided and submitted in person in the Office of the District Educational Officer. Candidates are advised to get the acknowledgement on the photo copy of the application form
(8)Submission of Application Forms online or by post or fax is NOT accepted by the Teachers Recruitment Board. Such received applications shall not be accepted and they will be summarily
rejected
(9)DON’T send the filled-in Application Form directly to the Teachers Recruitment Board
(10)Application Forms will not be accepted by the concerned District
Office after 2017
