State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh is Announce Employment Notification for SCT Police Constables Civil and AR Men / Women and Warders Male / Female Posts. SLPRBAP invites application through Online mode only in the prescribed proforma to be made available on Website www.recruitment.appolice.gov.in. from 2017 for the following posts. The number of vacancies indicated is only provisional and is liable for change without giving any notice. SLPRB, A.P., reserves the right to notify the modifications with regard to any aspect of recruitment during the process of recruitment.

The Candidate will be required to submit (Upload) a copy of photo, signature and community certificate (for BC/SC/ST candidates) while submitting Online Application Form. The Preliminary Written Test will be held on soon. The registered candidates may download their Hall Ticket from the website 10 days before the date of Preliminary Written Test

Age Limit

For SCT Police Constables Civil & AR Men / Women Posts - the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2017 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1998.

For Warders Male & Female Posts - Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2017

Educational Qualification - The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2017, Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2017, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.

Physical Standards - The candidates should meet the following requirements

For SCT Police Constables Civil & AR Men Posts

HeightMust not be less than 167.6 cms
ChestMust not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on
full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

For SCT Police Constables Civil & AR Women Posts

HeightMust not be less than 152.5 cms
WeightMust not be less than 40 kgs 

NOTE - Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts where the reserved quota could not be fully utilised for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite physical standards, the physical standards shall be relaxed as specified below

Fee - A prescribed fee for OCs/BCs is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) and for SCs/STs is Rs. 150/- (One Hundred Fifty only) towards Applications Processing and Examination.

Mode of Payment of Fee
  • The candidate has to visit any of the Mee Seva (e-Seva) / AP Online/ TS Online centres to pay the prescribed Registration Fee by providing his / her Basic personal details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community and SSC Hall Ticket Number or its equivalent. Amount should be credited in favour of Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh.
  • After receiving the Payment Receipt from Mee Seva (e-Seva) / AP Online/ TS Online, the candidate has to visit the website recruitment.appolice.gov.in to submit the online application form. Even after making payment of fee, if the candidate fails to submit the Online Application Form, such cases shall be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case
  • Those who intend to apply for more than one category of posts need to submit only one application form
  • Applications submitted after 1700 hrs on 14.09.2017 will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be entertained
Candidates to Ensure Their Eligibility For The Examination - The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Selection Procedure - The Selection Procedure / Scheme of the Exam for Post SCT Police Constables Civil & AR and Warders Men / Women will be as follows

Preliminary Written Test - Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions).

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Men and Women candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and one out of remaining two events as detailed below

For SCT Police Constables (AR) (Men/Women) - Men & Women Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency Test which carries 100 Marks as detailed below


Final Selection

For SCT Police Constables (Civil)(Men/Women) - The final selection of the candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination for 200 marks for the candidates who qualified in Physical Efficiency Test and as per the provisions of “The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 1975” and G.O. (P). No. 763, General Administration (SPF.A) Dept., dated 15-11-1975 as amended from time to time.” As per G.O. Ms. No. 8 General Administration (SPF.A) Dept., dated 08-01-2002 while filling up the vacancies, the first 20% of posts should be filled following combined merit list of locals and non-locals and thereafter, the remaining 80% of the posts shall be filled up by locals only.

For SCT Police Constables (AR) (Men/Women) - The final selection of the candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on relative merit, as per marks obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination (for 100 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks) totalling to 200 marks and as per the provisions of “The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 1975” and G.O. (P). No. 763, General Administration (SPF.A) Dept., dated 15-11-1975 as amended from time to time. As per G.O. Ms. No. 8 General Administration (SPF.A) Dept., dated 08-01-2002 while filling up the vacancies, the first 20% of posts should be filled following combined merit list of locals and non-locals and thereafter, the remaining 80% of the posts shall be filled up by locals only.

For Warders Female/ Male - The final selection will be strictly on relative merit of the candidates in each category, as obtained by them based on their score out of a maximum of 200 marks in Final written examination (200 marks). As per the provisions of “The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Local cadres and regulation of direct recruitment) Order, 1975”, the rule of reservation to local candidates is not applicable.
